The Southern New England Chapter Will Cruise the Connecticut River!
Chapter Member Charlie Hand will be organizing a fall cruise on the CT River on Saturday September 29, 2018!
Launch will be at the Salmon River, 117 E. Haddam Moodus Road, East Haddam, CT 06423. The launch is located at the mouth of the Salmon River, off Route 149, 1.5 miles North of the junction with Route 82. Launch will be between 9:00-10:00 a.m. – Reminder – make sure your boat is fueled up!
The tide will allow getting behind Seldens Island on the return trip and a visit to Hamburg Cove.
A lunch stop will be at Essex Island Marina. Lunch is on your own. Please bring your own beverage.
River cruise will include a poker run.
The cruise will then meander back up the river to Haddam Meadows where we will take the boats out and head home.
